Caught Up

So I got stuck for a while on what blog posts I wanted to to retain on this new blog. I ended up moving over a bunch of them. Some of them I gave a bit of a polish, some of them I changed a bit more substantially. It's interesting to go over nearly five years of writing and decide what to keep and what to get rid of. Some things that I liked a lot at the time didn't end up making it. Some things that I thought were very temporally specific turned out to have more relevance than I'd anticipated. Some things that I really liked and had kept around for ages ended up falling away. Some things seemed to me to work well in combination so I joined them together (the more I think about it the more that might've been a bad idea in some cases but hey, we're here now). Anyway: the Archive Era is now concluded. New material from now on, until I inevitably decide, once again, to junk the whole thing and start again.
